Amanda Frausto, MS, AMFT
Hello, my name is Amanda Frausto and I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I received my B.A. in Psychology from University of California, Riverside and my M.S. in Clinical/Counseling Psychology from California State University, San Bernardino. I have worked in multiple settings as a clinician including partial hospitalization and outpatient services at a community mental health center.
I practice from a trauma-informed, LGBTQ+ affirming, and culturally aware lens. I utilize aspects of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, when working with clients to ensure I have a wide range of tools in my toolbox to personalize treatment as much as possible. I value my relationship with each client and work to create a collaborative relationship throughout the therapeutic process.
My priority is providing a warm, safe and non-judgmental environment for individuals, couples, and families to share and be vulnerable. I am dedicated to empowering clients with education on mental health, the brain and the nervous system’s role in mental health, and effective coping strategies.
In my free time I enjoy going to concerts, playing music, and spending time with family, friends, and my two dogs.
