Erica Lee, PsyD, LMFT
Hi. I am an experienced marriage and family therapist and clinical psychologist, with a doctorate from Azusa Pacific University. I am ready to help you overcome internal and interpersonal challenges and live life the way you want to live it. My background has included work in community mental health, school districts, and private practice settings. I am experienced with children, teens, adults, and families and have treated a multitude of issues. I can help with social or communication problems, anxiety, depression, trauma, adjustment challenges or life stressors.
My approach to therapy is conversational, warm, and empathic. I incorporate evidenced-based treatments (ACT, CBT, DBT) in an integrative way that considers your unique individual needs. I believe that all people are continuously learning and growing socially and emotionally, and relationships are the basis for this growth. Given an environment where a person feels understood and accepted, I believe there is no limit to their potential for healing and growth. I will work with you to create a safe and comfortable space where you can feel heard and understood. With this foundation of understanding and acceptance in place, I will help you open the door to new perspectives, interactions, and options for engaging with the world.
In addition to the joy I find in helping clients navigate better lives, I also find joy in my hobbies and interests and my personal relationships. In my free time, I enjoy swimming or spending time taking in the sights and sounds of nature. I also love to spend time with my husband and daughter, watching movies, playing board games or simply being together. I am looking forward to meeting you and supporting you in your steps toward a better future.
